Usavvy is built so there is not much to secure in the first place. There is no bank connection, no stored logins, and no account numbers, so the data other apps worry most about simply does not exist here. What you do trust us with is the spending you type in, and we protect it with the basics done properly.
How your data is protected
- No bank credentials are stored, because the app never asks for them.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Your entries are tied to an account token, not to your identity out in the world.
- You can export or delete everything you have entered, at any time.
- Analytics load only after you allow them, and the AI never gets account access.
Security questions
Do you store my bank login?
No. There is no bank connection anywhere in Usavvy, so there is no login to store or leak.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes, in transit and at rest. Your spending entries get the same protection you would expect from a modern app.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. You can export or permanently delete your data whenever you want, from the app.
Does the AI get access to my accounts?
No. The AI only ever works with the spends you type in. There is no account for it to reach.
